All of you is welcome

Any man ready to do deep emotional work and seek a supportive brotherhood can benefit from the ManKind Project. With roots stretching back to a 1985 training designed by three diverse co-founders, MKP has grown into an inclusive global organization offering unique “men’s initiation” experiences and ongoing integration circles. These programs help men of varied backgrounds—professionals, fathers, veterans, retirees, or simply those looking to improve themselves—build authentic connections, develop accountability and emotional literacy, and foster meaningful change in their lives.

Vegas Warriors exists to give men a safe, judgment-free space where they can drop the mask, speak their truth, and be witnessed by brothers who have their backs. Our core aim is to foster genuine connection so each man remembers he is not alone on his path.

We guide members in naming and feeling the full spectrum of emotions—anger, grief, joy, fear—so energy once bottled up becomes fuel for growth. Through proven MKP practices, men learn to respond rather than react, turning raw feelings into purposeful action.

Growth is meaningless if it ends at the door. Vegas Warriors encourages service projects, mentorship of younger men, and outreach to veterans and first responders, ensuring our personal breakthroughs ripple into tangible benefits for Las Vegas at large.

What is the ManKind Project?

The ManKind Project is an international, volunteer-driven organization aimed at fostering healthy masculinity through intensive trainings and ongoing men’s groups. It was founded in the mid-1980s by three men who drew on therapy, ritual, and personal development modalities to create a unique “men’s initiation” framework. MKP differs from many men’s groups because of its emphasis on accountability, emotional literacy, and continued growth in a global network that supports local men’s circles.

There are no formal age requirements or physical prerequisites to join the MKP. However, as an organization dedicated to men’s emotional and personal development, MKP generally serves adult men. Originally, many participants were in mid-life—often between their 30s and 50s—but it has since expanded to include men across a wide age spectrum (including younger and older adults). There is no listed restriction regarding professional background, religious affiliation, or prior experience with personal growth programs. Men of diverse races, ethnicities, and orientations are welcomed.

Men often attend the NWTA and join ongoing MKP groups (Integration Groups) to address issues like loneliness, personal or professional obstacles, and the desire for deeper emotional support. Other common motivations include:

  • Overcoming Isolation – MKP’s programs provide community, fellowship, and safe spaces for honest sharing—countering the isolation that many men experience.
  • Finding Support – Accountability and compassion are cornerstones of MKP. Peer groups offer consistent support to help participants stay committed to personal goals.
  • Personal Development – Many men seek to heal emotional wounds (sometimes old traumas or negative self-beliefs) through introspective processes taught during the NWTA and beyond.
  • Leadership Skills – Men learn to handle conflict, communicate effectively, and lead with authenticity—whether in the workplace, at home, or in community engagements.
  • Purpose and Clarity – Through self-inquiry, feedback, and various ritual or mythic frameworks, men often discover or reaffirm a strong sense of purpose in their lives.
